These Terms & Conditions govern all services, communications, and engagements with Family Lynx LLC. By accessing this website, requesting services, or submitting any form through this site, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms.

 

1. Engagement, Scope & Scheduling

All Family Lynx services operate under a coordinated engagement model. Services are not automatically scheduled and require prior alignment of scope, scheduling, and operational feasibility. Certain projects may require consultation before confirmation.

Family Lynx provides structured visual documentation services that are observational in nature. Services do not include engineering analysis, structural evaluation, code compliance, or repair recommendations. All materials reflect visible conditions at the time of capture only and should not be interpreted as technical conclusions or guarantees. Final interpretation and any decisions based on the documentation remain the responsibility of the client and any licensed professionals they engage

Appointments are confirmed only after scope alignment, scheduling agreement, and any required payment or deposit. Scheduled services represent reserved time, equipment allocation, and travel commitment. Clients are responsible for providing accurate project information, ensuring site access, and communicating relevant site conditions. Failure to do so may result in rescheduling, additional charges, or cancellation.

Family Lynx reserves the right to modify scope, adjust scheduling, or decline services if conditions fall outside safe, legal, or operational limits.

2. Website Forms & Communication

Website forms are intended for service inquiries, consultation requests, and project coordination. Submission of any form does not constitute a binding agreement or guarantee service availability.

By submitting information through this website, you confirm that the details provided are accurate to the best of your knowledge and that you are authorized to request services for the referenced property or project. Incomplete or inaccurate information may result in delays, scope adjustments, or cancellation of the request.

Information submitted through the website will be used solely for communication, scheduling, and service coordination.

3. Payment Terms

Payment is required to secure scheduling and initiate services. One-time services are typically due in full at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed in writing. Retainer or contract-based services follow their respective billing structures.

Failure to submit payment may result in delays, suspension of services, or cancellation of scheduled appointments. Family Lynx reserves the right to require prepayment for future services if prior balances remain outstanding.

4. Cancellation & Rescheduling

We understand that schedules can change; however, reserved time and resources must be protected.

  • Cancellations made more than 24 hours in advance incur no fee.

  • Cancellations within 24 hours are subject to a 25% service fee.

  • Same-day cancellations, no-shows, or cancellations after arrival are subject to a 50% service fee, with travel costs applied when applicable.

Rescheduling requests follow the same timing structure and may be treated as cancellations depending on notice provided

5. Operational Conditions

Services are performed in dynamic, real-world environments and are subject to factors such as weather, lighting, airspace restrictions, site accessibility, and overall safety conditions.

Family Lynx reserves the right to delay, reschedule, modify, or cancel services when necessary to maintain safety, regulatory compliance, and equipment integrity.

6. Aerial Operations (When Applicable)

Aerial services are conducted in accordance with FAA Part 107 regulations and all applicable laws. Drone operations are dependent on weather conditions, airspace authorization, and site safety.

While aerial capabilities are a core offering, they are not guaranteed under all conditions. When necessary, alternative capture methods may be used

7. Operational Hold Time

Services are structured around a single continuous operational window. Up to 60 minutes of on-site hold time is included. Additional idle time is billed at $100 per hour in 30-minute increments.

If extended delays require departure and return, a second deployment will be billed as a separate service.

8. Data Ownership & Retention

Upon full payment, all deliverables become the property of the client. Family Lynx retains project data for 14 days following delivery. Upon written request, retention may be extended up to 90 days to assist with data retrieval.

Family Lynx does not provide long-term storage or archival services. Clients are responsible for downloading, storing, and maintaining their data

9. Confidentiality

All project materials are treated as confidential. Family Lynx will not share, publish, or distribute any materials without prior written authorization, except where required by law.

10. Liability Limitations

Family Lynx operates strictly as a visual documentation provider. No liability is assumed for decisions made based on delivered materials. Liability, if any, is limited to the total amount paid for the service.

Family Lynx is not responsible for indirect damages, consequential losses, or outcomes resulting from third-party interpretation or use of documentation

11. Travel & Service Area

Standard service coverage includes travel within 100 miles (one way). Travel beyond this range may incur additional charges and require coordination.

All travel is calculated based on practical routing and operational feasibility.

12. Force Majeure

Family Lynx shall not be held liable for delays or inability to perform services due to circumstances beyond reasonable control, including severe weather, natural disasters, government restrictions, or airspace closures.

Services affected by these conditions may be rescheduled or adjusted as necessary

13. Acceptance of Terms

Use of this website, submission of forms, and engagement with Family Lynx services constitutes acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
