How the system is consuming and storing energy is one of the main focuses of the system. The power management system monitors live data reports from all devices connected to it, including smart receptacles and circuit meters to determine where power is being used, and how it can best be provided. All renewable energy first gets stored in a local battery. The property gets its energy from the Battery System. On the chance that there is no renewable energy available, and the Battery System is low on reserve energy, the system will then fall back on the public power grid system to power the property until renewable energy can take back over. All excess energy would be sent to the public grid for storage and to be made available for others. As added redundancy, a back-up generator can still be installed for a situation where all the other energy sources have been exhausted.
